Macbeth Introduction Paragraph

Shakespeare's Macbeth is driven by the characters and the presence of evil they contain within them. There is no doubt Macbeth was an evil man. However, Shakespeare made him more relatable to the audience by giving him a conscience. Throughout the play we can see Macbeth's indecisiveness, guilt, and ultimately his ambition. Macbeth was an honorable man, but throughout the play we see the effect evil has on him and how that caused his downfall.
